Rosaalda Brandao is a believer of a better world for children. she believes that every child deserves to have a brighter and stronger future, well prepared ahead to empower them into achieving and explore their full potentials. She was born in a small town in Bambadinca, in Guinea-Bissau, to Antonio G. Brandão and Alda O. Sanca. Her childhood was one of the most difficult that any child could imagine in Guinea-Bissau. But still for some reason she would not change anything. Because these difficulties made her what she is today. An inspiration to many. She lives to inspire and empower other just like her. Due to the instability of the civil war in Guinea Bissau in the late 90s, Rosaalda and some members of her family ran to Cabo-verde, where they seek refuge while awaiting their return to Guinea-Bissau as the situation in the country improved.

A year later, she returns to the country where she once again reunited with her families, but never as before the civil war. With the country still in queues, without school, without stability in the country. she migrates to Portugal in her late teens. Two years later she moves to the United Kingdom, where she currently lives with her 3-year-old son and her families. She is a business woman who works full time as a real estate agency, a company owned by her family, while running her own retail business, Rosaalda Fashion LTd. She is also the author of the book “Hunger in the Forest” and founder of Caixa Magica Infantil, an organization dedicated to improving and strengthening children’s literature in Guinea- Bissau. She hopes that these books can inspire in showing how vital children’s literature is at an early age.

She is counting on your support, buying “one-book-at-a-time” and any other related products to make this project possible. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated, to make this project possible and make this childlike dream of changing the world a reality … “One-book-at-a-time” She writes books with a positive message of self-empowerment and self-worthy. she writes books that inform, encourage and inspire, adventurous, stimulate creativity.
