We believe that the greatest tool in the hand of any child is the gift of ‘literacy’ starting with “one-book-at-a-time”. With this methodology, we strive to improve and empower children to a greater future ahead. Our aim is to make sure that no child is left behind through our project. These projects are divided into 8 regions within the country- Guinea-Bissau with your support we believe we can make a huge difference within.

African Children: Moonlight Tales

Growing up in Guinea-Bissau, West Africa, it was rare for us to have electricity, not to mention television in the early 90s. There was no way that “Disney's fairytale dreams” could come true if you had never heard a “Disney tale” as a child. We relied solely on our traditional folktales, passed down from generation to generation by our ancestors.

One Project at a Time

I truly believe in the saying that goes “no one can take a better care of a child than their mother”. And believe me when I say that statement is the truest statement ever made. As a mother myself, when I look at my children in Africa and their suffering my heart breaks into thousand pieces… Seeing how so many lives are being destroyed by our leader’s negligence towards education which is one of the major solutions to a successful democracy and stability in any country. Kid no not, I was once like the children in the pictures and that was back in late 80s and early 90s, and what is sad is that these deteriorated conditions continue existing till today in the entire country.

At Caixa Magica Infantil we intend to change that once and for all by giving all our best to our children and help them inspire to a better future and better leaders of the tomorrow. We believe having a class room as innovative as this will greatly help improve the deteriorated terrifying educational system which in turn can help stimulate, inspire creativities in their learning journey

But we can’t do it on our own. We need your support, urgently to help these children in their future endeavors. With your support and the selling of our books we intend to change the past (deteriorating terrifying Class image above) to the (more innovative, friendly and enjoyable class image below) we believe that only working together we can make a difference that is urgently need in the lives of these children.
